Consultation

Initial proposals for the wider area have been prepared following consultation with Derby City, South Derbyshire District and Derbyshire County Councils, as well as other statutory bodies including the Highways Agency and the Environment Agency. The proposals – which include an indicative masterplan –have informed responses by HLML to consultation on the emerging Derby City and adopted South Derbyshire Local Plans.

Further technical work is being undertaken to refine the proposals for the wider area.

Planning applications have been submitted for development of a total of 180 new homes within Derby City and 100 new homes within South Derbyshire.

There will be opportunities for local people and other interested parties to offer their views and contribute to further stages of the proposals.
